An exciting opportunity exists for a Microsoft Azure BDM working within the Microsoft team at Dicker Data.

We are looking for a driven, skilled, and talented individual who can work alongside partners, Microsoft, and the Azure team at Dicker Data articulating the Partner value proposition and guiding Partners with building the right solution and optimising their solutions on Azure.

You will work closely with the Azure Business Manager, Microsoft BDMs, and Dicker Data commercial Account managers on new and existing initiatives to enable and help grow the Azure partner base and consumption revenue. In addition, you will assist identify gaps in Partners Cloud capability and guide them to upskill and build managed service offerings to take to market around Public Cloud on Azure.

General Responsibilities

  • Partner outreach - Building sales capabilities and supporting partners with solutions to meet their customer's needs.
  • Utilise Microsoft and Dicker Data programmes and tools to drive sales conversations and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Complete industry and relevant certifications across Azure Fundamentals & Azure sales
  • Attendance at the weekly Microsoft team meetings and share information relating to partners, opportunities and Microsoft changes and additions, market trends.
  • Have the ability to learn and understand new and emerging cloud technologies and be able to complete training and upskilling to help find answers to those hard-to-answer questions that you will often encounter.
  • Deliver Sales training on Azure solutions to and through Resellers.

To be successful, you will have/be:

  • Experience in selling/quoting/supporting Cloud Products and solutions.
  • Previous experience in selling and promoting Microfot Azure would be advantageous
  • A team player with proven customer service and sales skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A problem solver with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to obtain relevant Microsoft licensing and Cloud vendor certification is essential.

Ideally, this role will be based in Parnell, however, working remotely from other parts of the country will be considered.
