An exciting opportunity exists for a Microsoft Modern Workplace BDM working within the Microsoft team at Dicker Data.

The role of the Microsoft Modern Workplace BDM is to be a resource for partners to help them identify gaps in their MSP practices and help them upskill and build services to take to market with Microsoft 365 to drive digital transformation in their customer's organisations

You must be comfortable delivering sales and high-level technical training on bleeding edge solutions and can help partners build these offers into their managed practices with guidance on how best to purchase, deploy and manage these services.

General Responsibilities

  • Partner outreach - Building sales capabilities and supporting partners with compliant licensing solutions to meet their needs.
  • Utilise Microsoft and Dicker Data tools to drive renewal conversations and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Partner reach through email, phone, and F2F, excellent communication skills, ability to promote offers and campaigns
  • Hold all Industry and relevant certifications.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft partner ecosystem; excellent and well-managed relationships; organisational skills that lead to well-thought-out priority planning; prompt follow-through on assigned tasks; the ability to be efficient and productive with little supervision; and the ability to work quickly and exceed goals
  • Attendance at the weekly Microsoft team meetings, this is a time to share information relating to partners, opportunities and MS changes and additions, and market trends.
  • Assist partners to use tools and reporting to build profitable offers and drive strategic opportunities to help Dicker Data Microsoft Revenue grow.
  • Deliver in-person training to the Dicker Data Microsoft team and training to our Partners and their customers about products, solutions, and the possibility of cloud.

To be successful, you will have/be:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working within the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in selling/quoting/supporting Microsoft Cloud Products.
  • A background in Unified Communications and or Meeting Room solutions would be advantageous
  • A team player with proven customer service and sales skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A problem solver with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Can obtain relevant Microsoft licensing and Surface certification is essential.

This role will be based in Parnell, but also involves quarterly visits to the main centres, and twice-yearly visits to regional locations.
