An exciting opportunity exists for an Operations Specialist working within the Microsoft team at Dicker Data. The Operations Specialist will provide all necessary administrative and marketing support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.

What you will do in this role:

  • Manage all back-end Microsoft administration including maintaining certifications, price lists, SLA credit requests, Surestep and customer migrations
  • Develop a high level of understanding and competency of Dicker Data's Microsoft offerings. Attend relevant meetings, training courses, and conferences.
  • Provide coverage for inbound calls and sales queue inbox, route requests to the correct team members within Dicker Data. Keep customers/team members updated as needed.
  • Manage HPE requests for all unmanaged accounts.
  • Assist with upsell/cross-sell opportunities within the business to enhance sales
  • Manage our Microsoft newsletter, and work with key resellers to develop Microsoft marketing campaigns.
  • Prepare monthly reporting detailing successful account conversions, target tracking, and market intelligence/feedback.
  • Be known as the trusted advisor and support to our resellers to a point where they prefer working with Dicker Data.

To be successful, you will have/be:

  • Minimum of 3 years of successful administrative and sales experience
  • A passion and ability to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills including the ability to write, or call customers with explanations of company decisions, & policies
  • Team player with the ability to gain buy-in and commitment from a broad range of internal staff
  • Initiative/ pro-activity
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to interpret and draw conclusions from information
