A fantastic opportunity exists for a Returns Administrator to join the Vendor Management team at Dicker Data.

The primary role of the Returns Administrator is responsible for the support and approvals and processing of customer returns - in line with achieving targets also ensuring our customer expectations are exceeded and providing a level of service above that of our competitors.

What you will do in this role:

  • Manage returns requests from our customers efficiently
  • Process RA requests accurately and in a timely manner either via web, email, or returns portal
  • Provide returns support to all customers via phone, email, or web
  • Process advanced replacement orders in a timely manner to provide the best customer experience
  • Escalate customer satisfaction issues immediately with the team leader or applicable manager
  • Backup to other returns functions such as retail or vendor returns
  • Communicate with Product Managers and Assistant Product Managers on non-standard returned stock ie open box
  • Actively provide feedback and suggestions on process improvements
  • Apply for vendor RA's if required for example converting approved case IDs for HP into RA numbers
  • Work closely with the warehouse team on processing the physical returns in a timely manner

To be successful, you will have/be:

  • 2 years+ of experience in an administration or customer service role
  • A passion and ability to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customer needs
  • Strong negotiation and time management skills
  • Basic to Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills including the ability to write, or call customers with explanations of company decisions, & policies
  • Team player with the ability to gain buy-in and commitment from a broad range of internal staff
  • Initiative/ pro-activity
  • Strong data analysis skills, ability to interpret and draw conclusions from information
  • A basic understanding of financial fundamentals such as gross margin, gross profit, return ratios, etc
